DMI Working with Trinity Communications to Reshape Marketing and Identity

The Institute has begun working closely with Boston-based Trinity Communications ( to reexamine its positioning in the marketplace, as well as its marketing initiatives for 1997. Trinity will be evaluating DMI's identity and visual assets, as well as developing a strategic marketing plan.

The process began with a research effort in the form of a questionnaire that was distributed to attendees of the 8th Corporate Identity Conference. The questionnaire was designed to gain information from members and constituents regarding their needs, wants, and perceptions of DMI, as well as preferred future directions.

Since then, Trinity and representative DMI staff and advisors have been meeting to review possible new approaches to DMI's positioning, identity and public relations. We look forward to sharing the results of Trinity's work to reposition DMI in upcoming issues of DMI News. Trinity Communications is an integrated marketing communications company whose services include: advertising, new media, identity, PR, direct marketing, research, and sales promotion.
